The Rich and Famous

Last Saturday, I attended one of my classmate's Raya open house and it was a glimpse into the life of the rich and famous. I've attended her open house before last year but it was nothing like this year's. Not that it wasn't as glamorous and all but because I practically came at the ending, I missed seeing everyone that was there.

This time, I managed to see our prime minister, deputy minister and all other ministers and other "orang-orang besar"(big shots). Wanna know whose this classmate of mine? Haha too bad, her name would not be mentioned, for safety purposes, less you reading this might go assassinate her wtf...

Brought camera along but, battery died after the second picture! So these are some pictures stolen from the host of the day. Not much though as she had to run around the whole time greeting people.

Raya Special Pt.2

As mentioned in my earlier post, I went on 3 different trips during the last Raya holidays. The first was to PD, and the second was to this place call the "Chiling Waterfalls". Where is it ar? HAHA i don't really know.

Was brought there by a friend. I know it's some where north of selangor on the way to Fraser's hill.. Have to cross this steel bridge thing on the way to Fraser's and they will be a sign saying "Sg.Chiling"! Ok, I know my info is pointless.=___=' Oh! there's also this hugeeeeeeeeeeee water dam(empangan) on the way there where we stopped for toilet break. I also don't know whats the dam's name LOL.

Anyway it was a last minute kinda thing where my friend only asked me a day before, and she well.. how should I put it.. urm, forgot to mention to me the part where we had to HIKE FOR AN HOUR and CROSS 6 RIVERS! That is to reach the waterfall. And HIKE ANOTHER 1 HOUR and CROSS 6 RIVERS AGAIN to go back down!!!!!!! %$#@^&%

But still, I enjoyed it. SERIOUSLY! And it's so far my greatest achievement ever alright. Ok, besides not eating the chicken skin from the chicken rice that I had today.. which I wasn't even suppose to have. 2 x =__=' Stupid slimming course.

Ok, back to the waterfall trip.. My friend's very smart cousin also had intended to have a BBQ up at the waterfallls and so they went to buy all the food stuff, bbq pits and ya da ya da....... On that day.... He fell sick! So sick that he couldn't join us. And the remaining of us, me, my girlfriend, girlfriend's girlfriend and only 1 poor guy had to carry all those stuff up by ourselves!

And reminder we had to hike for an hour and cross 6 rivers x 2 times alright! And I've never even hiked what more cross 6 freaking strong current rivers! And with carrying plastic bags of food!

My friend, Mel, has been here for like 5 times and to her, it feels like heaven. Coz' if you look at the picture, you'll see there's a light, like a light from above coming down on earth LOL.. I know all light comes form the sky-La but you see this light.. It's nice-La!

Terimee Trim Me

After much hesitation and persuasion from my sister to join her in a slimming program by "Terimee", I finally agreed! I mean I have always wanted to be slimmer of course, but the price! It's killing me! But only because my sister was like persuading me for almost the whole day and it's gonna be my birthday present for 2 years! LOL.

My sister is someone I used to label "The Bitch". We usually do not speak to each other unless needed. Either that, or we'll be quarreling. But now, I know she loves me(can't believe I'm saying this). Like what Suet mentioned in her blog, we Asians mostly do not know how to show our love and affection towards our family. The same goes to me. And for me to be even blogging bout this is like sooo awkward to me but the fact that she is willing to foot out such amount for me to look better is like Woah!

You see, my sister is a mum now. A single mum. And before she was pregnant, she was just like my size. Not very slim I would say, our family have always been on the larger side. But not fat either. After giving birth, she started putting on a lot of weight. As in A LOT! Not that I cared at first coz' she was giving me her entire wardrobe, but then I know it was a big hit on her.

Come on, even whenI was hospitalised and was on steroids, I put on like 5Kg and I was so depressed! Imagine my sister who had to like gained almost double of her weight before. After I moved in with her, I would get comments such as "why you so fat wan?", "why your thighs so big wan?".. You know insults like that, that made me think that she was just saying that to make herself feel better and that she was jealous.

How could I think of her in such a way??? When today she practically forced me to join this slimming program. Ya, she was still complaining to the consultant bout how fat my thighs was yada yada.. but still!!!

You may think it's not a lot but to me it is! And she even wanted me to take up another course that was triple of this amount and I was like CRAZY-ar! Well, to her it is considered cheap already compared to the amount she is paying for her own course. It's because different "fat case" needs different kind of treatment and according to the consultant, my "fats" are still soft and easy to be broken. HOPEFULLY!

We came back bout 1am and found my deft and dumb aunty sleeping on the couch in the hall. We asked her why was she sleeping outside in sign language and she said it was coz' she was afraid that I wouldn't have keys to open the door as I had left my set of keys behind. She didn't know that I had went out with my sister. It was such a hit for me. Almost wanted to cry. Again, I'm an Asian. All I managed to do was to give her a pat on her head and ask her to go sleep.

I realize now, there is none other like your own family.

Raya Special Pt.1

Finally, my laptop is alive again! Long story short, my lappy crashed.. but revived again. Was told that I was an unlucky victim of the "black screen" operation by Microsoft. Go google it.

Urm yea.. for not using licensed microsoft.. *blushes** expensive alright!

Anyhow, I shall now be able to upload pics of my trips during the week of Raya holidays.

Destination #1
Port Dickson

Went to PD with the U8 gang.. Stayed at the Sunshine Apartment that belonged to our Daniel ding dong bell.. =) Nothing much happened.. just the usual drinking session. And Indeed Sarah is still our reigning Drinking Queen as Clem calls her to be.

With only one bottle of this darn good whisky called "Otard" or something brought by Andy, it sure wasn't enough to get all of us drunken as what the initial plan was. So in the middle of the night, in the very desserted PD town that only had TWO 24-hour store, 7-eleven, we searched high and low for a place that we could buy some more alcohol. Such alcoholics we are indeed.

After have had 2 near accident incidents, we decided to just head back home and to our utter delightness, we found out that Shawn's uncle had agreed to sell his bottle of V.S.O.P to us!!! Yippe Hurray! =D

And thanks to this drinking game "007", I was totally out by like 2-ish am, while the rest stayed up till bout 5am. Tried to make myself puke but couldn't! Felt so terrible just headed to bed.. with Clem and urm.. found myself awake beside Kai tzin HAHA.. nothing happened alright.. or so i think. Well, even if I wanted, they wouldn't LOL.

And Oh, Shawn was being so darn lucky that he found a RM50 note at the beach!!!
