High school years and college times would always remain a very significant part of my life forever. Friends that I've met and kept along the way made all the painful and suffering moments of assignments and what nots all bearable. Without you guys, boy, would I not have made it through. I'm talking as though I'm so old already, but the thing is we are all growing up, heading towards different directions and living our own lives. Not that it's bad, it's something we all will have to go through. To grow up. Nevertheless, memories will always stay...

Had my Diploma graduation ceremony bout' hmmm... 2 months back lol. Was cool except that I got an over sized gown that made me look like a stunted humpty dumpty. Not many from the batch came. Was so pathetic. The Mass Communication group was the smallest. Had only 4 of us! Supposingly 5-la but my very smart bestie was too busy in the toilet that she missed the group shot. Oh well, all in all the class of '08/'09 is still the bom chikadee bom! Miss ya all.

This is like such an ancient post already but yeah have been so superly occupied that now only have the time to update plus what more with my lappie being dead! It die-ed!! =( RIP. It's in the process of resurrection though lol. A resurrection that cost me a bomb!

Anyway ya these are some pictures of when Tom, Clem's friend whom he met through Coahsurfers came down to KL and we sorta urm brought him around-La... Sorta-La haha and found out that we are really really bad tour guides! Totally out from my career options dy =__=''

Normal spot-lor... Brought him to KLCC! And met Suet there. So coincidentally she was also bringing her friends from urm Myanmar or Vietnam ar around town? Forgotten dy. Nvm.

On another day, we went to KLCC again with Clem to get his Crumpler before leaving...Oh actually this was before Tom came. Oh well...

Had a really random and spontaneous trip last week. Was out having a drink with Adrian at bout' 5 in the morning and he asked me out of the blue if I wanted to go down to PD and Malacca with his dad in like... 5 hours time. Being me, I say Yes-la. Nothing to do anyway.

So went back bout' 8-ish, showered, changed and went out to take a cab to the Petaling KTM station. Was gonna meet him at the station. So happened the train was being so freaking slow as usual and I ended up being there earlier than him and so waited for the train that he was on and boarded it together.

Damn long and felt so nostalgic on the train. Reminds me of the to times where we used to take the train to go dating LOL! And when he brought me around on the train, teaching me which train to take, which side to go, where to interchange and how did a banana tree look like! I know I damn silly wan last time! Reallll silly. Anyway.. ya.. was being so jakun and took pics in the so damn pack train.

Was gonna meet up with his dad in Sentral. Then going down to PD to look at some construction site which his dad was working on and being in the "business mode" that he was in, he wanted to go learn stuff la la la. My intention of going along was just to makan makan and jalan jalan! XD!

Poor boy had to drive round and round and round looking for teh place for me coz' stupid me being all that "Malaccan" was so confident bout' the roads and ended up getting lost. But not my fault completely eh! The roads changed. A lot!

Ok, so since I've came back have been De Canter-ing a lot and boy... you wouldn't want to know what happened! Haha, yes I lost my phone for one... Ok not mine... Kat's phone! Borrowed it form her when my own died in Miri. Haihzz... But it was good fun. After getting drunk can go up to Genting some more. Tell me I'm awesome... Haha Ok minus the part where I puked in the carsss la...

So amongst the times, onece was with Clem, Ding, Heng, Suet and Barry... Whom we were suppose to meet up with Suet's vietnamese friends but was late and they were really tired so ya.. was just us then...

Went to sit behind and started puking! Still am sorry Clem! Haha. Drove over to Adrian's place to wash up and then and then... and then...... decided to follow Aaron and the gang up to Genting!!! For what? For starbucks! I know!!!

Yeah ok I'm like back home for almost 2 weeks dy and haven't been updating at all coz' I've been so busy busy busy! Everyday out out out.. So tired... but oh well.. nothing makes me happier than being with the gang back again. What more, the entire gang! Such rare incidence.. =)

So you know my Korean roommate, Bianca? Well, she's not gonna be my roomie next sem when I go back though.. Not that I gave her a hard time! But coz' she memang applied for single room ever since the beginning... Just that there wasn't a vacant one.. Oh well..

So yeah before I left, she made me a sorta Korean Chinese, Kornese dinner Lol.. Ok not funny.. Yeah she and her boyfriend prepared dinner...

So she prepared this Kimchi hot pot soup.. except that it wasn't that hot... Very simple... and damn nice..

All that was needed was just...

and the instant Kimchi flown all the way from Korea... Her mum sends her like monthly stocks...

Just add everthing in with water and voila!

And the potatoes her boyfriend fried Lol...

Ok, now my turn... was just bored when I decided to prepare some jelly jelly...

Just get this "Konnyaku" jelly premix from the store

And some fruits, mix fruits, fresh or canned if you're lazy likeme like that...

First, fill up half a medium size pot with water and boil it till it's all bubbled up.. whatever that word is...

Then pour is the premix jelly powder in...

Keep stiring till it becomes errr... thick like that???

Then pour the thick already mixture into bowls or containers or better those little cups or moulds iwth the fruits already in...

Lastly, let it to cool for a while before putting them into the refrigerator till it's harden! And the bottom part of the refrigerator alright not the freezer! Less you want some jelly ice-La...

Haven’t been updating in a really long while, I know. Had so many things to do and in my mind that I just didn’t had the time and mood to blog. Wish there was something happy I could talk about but truth is there really isn’t.

Well, first of all, assignments were and still are piling up like crazy. Practically had something to hand in every single day. Oh well, this what you get when you won’t be having any final exams. Work like dog now while everyone is still chillax-ing and then when it’s everyone’s time to work I’ll be jetting back home! *evil laughs**

Anywayyyzz... besides work, there have also been stuff going on that’s been bothering me. Personal stuffs...

Oh well, just some random post-La for you guys to know what’s going on with me now… So do pardon the moody-ness… PMS-ing moods and what nots.

Ok continue with my Brunei road trip story..
So, after charging my camera at Coffee Bean, apa-lagi.. went out to take pictures-La!
We went to this field that reminds me of 'Dataran Merdeka' back home.

After our little photo shoot sessions, we went to the 'Kampung Ayer'.

"Kampong Ayer Stretching for several miles along the banks of the Brunei River, Kampong Ayer, Brunei's famed water village, is a fascinating glimpse into Brunei's past.

Built entirely of stilt houses and wooden walkways, this cluster of 42 villages housing more than 30,000 inhabitants is the world's largest water village. Some people refer to it as the 'Venice of the East'.

Today Kampong Ayer is an almost self-sufficient community being equipped with modern facilities such as schools, shops, markets, mosques, clinics, police stations and fire brigades. All are connected by a maze of stilted platforms and walkways.

So yeah, we went on a water taxi that costed us 60B$ = RM144 for an hour ride. It was really nice. We were to go through the Brunei rivers and into the water villages.

HAHA when I saw this Kayak, it reminded me of the time Langkawi, when Andy & I was a team and we were racing against Barry & Suet.. Before we even reached the shores, I just jumped out and ran there so that we would win. And as I turned back, I saw our Kayak, with poor Andy still in it tumbled upside down! HAHAHAHA. 'Coz you see the kayak needed two person to stabilize it and so when I jumped out, the kayak just overturned and Andy not knowing I would do that didn't had time to get out. Daymn those were the days-La.. Haha thinking that I could have almost drowned him.. Sorry Andy lol..

We were told by the guides that if we were lucky, we'll get to see crocodiles, monkeys and other wild life creatures. We were lucky indeed. Saw like 4 crocodiles.. big & small.. monkeys and even a wild boar! Haha I remember Sam saying "Ohh delicious" when he saw it and the tour guide was like "Eh harammm"... HAHA. Damn suprised at the guides expertise of the river. They could spot a freaking baby crocodile from like god knows how far away.

Curious No More- Part 1

I'm finally no longer curious anymore of how Brunei looks like! 'coz we went on a road trip to Brunei last Thursday.. Sam, Navin, Kathleen and I.. The border of Brunei is actually just 10 mins away from where I am currently..=) But the drive to the Bandar of Brunei took 'bout 2 hours from the border.

The tol plaza after entering into Brunei.. Which is RM10 and 3 Brunei Dollar. A tip.. if you would be driving and passing this tol, remember to have loose Brunei dollar as according to my friend, they would not give change =/ wth!

After entering the borders, I was so so so excited as I've always really wondered how Brunei would look like 'coz you know we don't hear or see anything 'bout Brunei in the media right..

I was like wide awake although am really sleepy. Only had like 3 hours of sleep 'coz we went to the club the night before -__-".. But all I saw was just jungles beside me sweat-la.. went back to sleep..

Then after don't know how long, was woken up by the others, saying we're gonna stop for lunch.. And so we stopped by this stall that sells "Nasi Katok".

There is a story behind the name Nasi Katok. It was begun by a couple of teenagers who were feeling very hungry after a midnight practice. They went to a place where they normally bought their food. This place was actually a residential house, which offered Nasi bungkus (a pack of rice with chicken and egg) even in the middle of the night. At any time you could just Katok (knock) on their door, and the owner will come up with fresh hot Nasi Katok. And that's how it became Nasi Katok. (all taken from wikitravel =p)

The local currency is the Brunei Dollar (B$) but many of the shopkeepers might use the term Ringit too.. but it does not refer to the Malaysian Ringgit though.. Our currency value is like lesser than half of the Brunei Dollar. I changed 60B$ that's equivalent to RM144! rate was at 2.4!

Oh and also. FYI, Singapore Dollar and Brunei Dollar can be used interchangeably so yeah, you can use Singapore$ in Brunei and vise versa..

Then as we reached into the Bandar, we were greeted with it's trafffic jam.. kinda enjoyed the moment.. made me think of the traffic back home.. lol..

Oh then as I was busy snapping away with my camera... the climax of the day reached.. I knew it would happenede but didn't knew it was so soon.. My camera batter died even before we could get down from the car! @#$%&*!

I was so so so freaking upset and was bitching all the way till my friends couldn't take it they went to the mall and everyone searched around for a camera shop that offer charging service or some kind but fail..=( Then we decide to just go to Coffee Bean or Starbucks to sit and charge.. 'coz smart me already predicted that this would happen and brought the charger along.. So off to Coffee Bean we went!

Oh, while we were at the mall looking for the camera shop, I stopped by a cosmetic shop and bought these masks, hair colors and mega-plump 'lips collagen' LOL! All for 1 Brunei$ each! That's like RM2.40..

While waiting, we went out to get a smoke and so I was sitting down outside Coffee Bean, about to light my ciggarette when we all noticed this..

WTH!!!

=______=" So could not believe it.. There was also this list of places where we couldn't smoke which includes practically everywhere and anywhere except for your own house.. sweat!

The government really really is trying to discourage smoking by taking such disastrous acts.. Think restricting public smoking is bad enough.. see this.. lagi wth! Would you still smoke when faced with such pictures every time you take a cigarette.. Well I think it would work on ladies.. giving psychological effect.. double sweat...

Went yet again to Thai Bar last Fri night as Ashvind was playing. And when everyone was like super high already and the dance floor was packed, the music stopped. Everyone went "woahhh".. Lights turned on. As my eyes was still getting used to the light after all the darkness, everyone started screaming and yelling "Police, police!" , I was like what the hell...

And then as I could see clearly, I went "oh oh"... Standing just like few inches in front of me was a uniformed police inspector... staring right at me. LOL. I know this is all damn funny now but if you were to be in my shoes at that time it would not be anymore ok!

Anyway... we all managed to "escaped". Haha. No, no urine test or whatever shit. Thank god for that. So from now.. I vow not to go back there again.. hehe.. for now-La..=)

Miri Tour

Ok, it wasn't exactly a Miri tour-La. Just went around some interesting places for my assignment purpose. We're like suppose to sh0ot a short documentary by dramatizing a location. So had Sam to take us around. He took us practically around Miri, which is not big as it only took us 'bout an hour plus. We stopped by at two places which are at the completely opposite sides of Miri.

First he took us to this place which doesn't have a specific name for it actually. It's just referred to as the 'fishing pot'. This place is like on the left side of Miri, the sea side.

Last Saturday, we went for the Orientation night organized by the Curtin's student council. Was held at this place call KPR (Kelab Rekreasi Petroleum). It's a clubhouse mainly for Petronas and Shell staffs. It was... okkkk.. Oh the theme was traffic light colors so we had to wear something either green, yellow or red!

No, it's not my birthday.. It was Suvein's! He turned 20.. Back in Subang, I was like one of the youngest in college but here, I'm like the oldest! Cis!

Anyway, we went to the beach and celebrated it the traditional way. Not with cakes and candles and balloons, but with drinking wtf.

Nasi Lalapan

Last week, a friend of ours brought us to this restaurant called Surabaya. As the name tells it, it serves Indonesian dishes. And a must to try is the "Nasi Lalapan". No direct translation I suppose. Even I don't know what Lalapan means btw. So yeah, it's basically a famous Indon dish that is served on this clay plate and comes with a meat of your choice, chicken, beef or fish; vegetables, a fried "tofu", fried "tempe" and the best of all, a superly incredibly spicy "sambal". The sambal is actually like the main attraction point for the dish. And it's really really spicy. But, good!

Back in Subang, I've always complained 'bout how boring the malls around were. And I know each and every one of them so well that I could practically walk around with my eyes half closed. Now, I've realized how much I've taken everything for granted. 'Coz I do miss Pyramid! I miss 1U, Mid Valeey, Pavilion, Times Square, Summit omg and even Sungai Wang ok! I would actually die for even such a place that is half the size of Summit and sells stuffs like Sungai Wang. So you can imagine how are the malls like here la ha.

It's not only about how outdated stuffs here or how unsensible their sense of fashion can be, but the prices! Gosh seriouslly whoever tells you that the cost of living in Miri is cheap, don't be fool man.. Like how I did. Miri is rated the highest in terms of cost of living in the entire of Sarawak, or even the whole of the east coast. 'Coz this is where all the oil rinks are and where many expatriates are living. And where there are highest number of international students. 'Coz of Curtin.

I'm sorry but I just can't help it but to smirk at every price tags that I flip and complaining, aloud! It's ridiculous really. A shirt that I can get for like RM20 in KL, is like min 80 bucks to 100 over here! Really! I've seen dresses and shorts that you can get at all Pasar Malams or the famous Times Square for cheap clothes for like 100 over here! But anyhow.. we still look forward to going to the town every other weekend. For Macdonald's! Eventhough the MacD's here don't offer refills for the drinks. =(

Till friends started telling me 'bout how it practically was not air conditioned, still uses the manual projector and that sometimes if you're unlucky, the movie might just stop half way and they move you to another hall. And last but not least, it is also infested with bugs, cocroaches and RATS! I don't know how far that's true but I certainly do not intend to try it. Oh and if you're wondering how much are the tickets. It's like RM8 or 10 too. =X

Info: This is like the only one MacD's here too which do not provide drink refills and is also slightly more expensive too I think. Haha this is so funny. You know what my friend and I did a few days ago.. we were so hungry at night and were craving for MacD's that we actually googled for delivery! I know we're jack asses and ya, as you can guess, we ended up eating Kolo Mee at a coffee shop. =/

And we have Starbucks! Yes, we do! =) =) =) Oh that's Tony from Singapore/Brunei in white and Ken from Brunei in stripes.

And how do we travel to town? I actually have lotsa friends that have cars but there are times that we need to take the bus too....

You know what I don't get? The price of the bus fares here are considered expensive compared to KL where we can ride the bus to anywhere anytime for the whole entire day for only RM2! Here, the price tickets are from RM1-2.60 per way! So why can't they afford to at least make the buses a little more comfortable? I mean if Rapid KL back home can provide us new buses with good seats and TV even, why not here?

And talking 'bout buses, I've a story to tell. 'Bout how my friends and I got cheated not once, but twice by the bus drivers! The first time we took the bus, we didn't know how much was it. So we asked the driver. He said RM2.60. So, ok, we each paid-La. Then later on, going back, we expected it to be the same price, 2.60 again. But this time teh driver said, No, only RM1.60! So we were like wth! Kena con dy the first trip. So ok, we paid 1.60 each. Then when we got home, we told this story to a friend of ours that has been here for like a year over already and he started laughing so bad! It turned out to be we were con-ed for the second time! The actual bus fare of going and coming back to town was only RM1.50 each way!!! what ever-La..

Oh, we saw this bus that states this and 'till today we are actually still wondering if it's a bus no.76? Or if it goes to no.50 and no.26 routes Lol?

Life here seriously ain't that bad at all. SERIOUSLY! Ya I know self comfort but really! The whole of the week I'm here, I actually feel as though I was or actually still am on a holiday. And ya, I've actually been doing alright.. socially.. not academically though. It's tough like hell here! Damn I miss INTI!

As many of you would know, I am in Miri now.. Yes that's in Sarawak! And I know it is indeed a curiosity to see how this !@#$%^ place looks now.. But overall it's not "that bad"-La... It was hard in the beginning. Or maybe still is but ya..

Well on the first day I got to campus, everybody was practically staring at me god knows why. According to one of my now good friend, he said I was "very unique" LMAO! Like I'm some exotic animal or something wtf..

Before I Left - Singletons Valentine

Last Sat, on Valentines, I sorta last minute planned a dinner, valentines dinner and invited all my single friends. Well, obviously the one's with dates wouldn't be able to make it anyhow right. Went to De Canter, again. Was browsing through my phone book inviting people when I realized that I only had two close girlfriends around, besides the U8 girl members-La. And they happened to be some what single. Sarah had left just before we went for dinner. Sent her off at KLIA, almost missing her by like 5-mins. Long story. Read Clem's.

The environment was good, food was good, music was good. Everyone loved the place. Everything was good to complete a valentines dinner. The only one un-single was Adrian and I basically. But in the end, everyone had a pleasant valentines instead of being stuck at home without dates. Right guys! Thanked me ya. And De Canter should start hiring me to be their advertiser.

Hi ppl,

Im here.. in Miri already. Yeah, it's Miri. Not US or Aussie or NZ or where ever.
I'm just in a state of recovery from the extreme culture shock that I had. LOL.

You see, I was sleeping throughout the entire journey here and suddenly I just felt this sharp pain in my ear. Woke up and realized that we were actually landing! Haha. So as the plane was on the runway coming to a stop, I had a picture of what my home of the next 1 half year wold look like.

It was a picture filled with greens and browns! All i could see were trees and muddy land! It seems that the place is muddy because of the recent flash floods that caused a few landslides that actually had ppl killed. On the way to campus, we actually had to drive through few of the tragedy sites too.

Fast forwarded, I have a Korean room mate. Her name's Bianca. Don't know her actual name yet though. Only had lunch with her and her boyfriend from China, who lives directly opposite our house, hence the explanation for why she's practically not living here. And she took her pillow with her when she left just now. Staying over I suppose? =(

Then had dinner with another girl, my housemate from Kelantan. The only girl I actuallly could speak in the way I actually speak! LOL. Let me tell you bout an incredibly funny story that happened just now.

When I was on the way walking to lunch with Bianca and Lee, her boyfriend, I asked Lee, "So, you can speak korean?". And he was like NO! Then I said, "So what were you all speaking in just now?" And Bianca was like English!! HAHAHAHA I know I'm damn mean but yeah really it sounded like korean or japanese, or mandarin. But absolutely did not sound like English at all! Haha!

Spent time unpacking stuff as soon as I arrived. Was too tired to go to campus already so took a nap till dinner time and have been in front of the comp ever since-La. Is this how my life is gonna be for the next 1 half year? I now wonder, why did I even wanna come here... sigh.. to study-La..

The title says it all. What just happen was so totally random. I just got my tics to Melbourne for only RM443! Return! Like seriously!!!

Air Asia's having this wild promotinon where they're giving away 500, 000 free seats to be given away! And again, like seriously!!! Haha I'm like so overly excited coz' it was such a random thing.

Clem just text me telling me about the promo and I just asked my aunty if she wanted to go anywhere and she was like, "Ok, anywhere you wanna go!" So I called Clem asking him if he wanted to go to Melbourne and then he said that he actually WOULD BE THERE! Apparently, he just had a talk with his mum, and she had said that she wanted him to continue on with his course there. So yay! The plan is that I would be going over there just in time for Christmas, with my aunty on a budget backpacking trip for two weeks!!! With Clem! =) =) =) =) =) =) =)

As I thought that this would be just another sucky working day for me, it turned out to be an interesting one indeed. Being a "banana", I can't speak or write Chinese, what more knowing about the significant meaning behind my Chinese name, Suet Mei.

According to my lady boss, Mei, besides meaning "Mei Hwa", the blossom flower that blooms during winter, it also meant that when times are tough, I get tougher. It's because the blossom flower who blooms during winter, will actually blossom more as the weather gets colder. And so she asked me, is it true, as in does it apply to my life?

I said, I guess so. Going through so much in my life eversince I was young, and when all along I just complained and complained asking God why is he so unfair to me, I guess I begin to realize that all that I've been through actually does make me into a stronger, tougher person now. So yeah haha, the name does suit me indeed.

And all along I've always told the boyfriend that I don't think our kids would actually have Chinese names as we are both Chinese illiterate, but now I really want them to have a really meaningful one.

And then later on after work as I was taking the Lrt, I met this elderly woman, who was actually Italian. She was looking at the signs, probably confused to which platform should she be in. After I directed her to the right way, she started to chit chat with me. She told me that she was 57 years older than me which would make her urm.. 78! And she's travelling on her own! Hoping around from hotels to friend's houses. Darn respect her-La.

Begin to talk about how safe is it to be in Malaysia, how lucky we were that we didn't have a quota of how much electricity or petrol that we can use like how they have it there. But then again her accent was quite heavy and she didn't speak that fluent english, I'm not sure if they have the quota thing for electricity and petrol because they are given it free or it's just because the government wants them to save? =__=''

Also, I couldn't help it but to think to myself if only my mum was still around. Oh how I would love to have her around still when she's 78! I would be.. urm.. bout' 45 then! And proly have kids that are bout' 20 by then.. And if only my mum would have the chance to travel to more places as she's only been to like urm Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong..? Oh well.. =)

Anywayzzzzz I took a couple more of pictures of my new hair style last night before heading out to De' Canters again as every other week. I washed it! Yeah still flat-La but blow dried it a bit so it's looking a littleee bit better than the last pics-La.

hahaha yes I did! Actually almost half the world knows it already-La coz' I've been calling almost everyone eversince LOL.

Nothing much to talk bout', I'll just let the pics tell. But do mind the sucky-ness. Of my face, not the hair as I have yet to find the correct angle to take a pic with this new hair. And besides, I rebonded/straightened it so it's kinda flat. Took the pics a day after I cut it and can't wash it yet, or for another 2 days or so! And PLUS, I went for a bbq right after I cut it too. Haven't been posting as there ain't anything interesting at this phase of my life right now. As most of my friends are back to school, I'm, what else.. working. After my dreadful month in 1u, and swearing to not go there anymore for at least a year, I'm working there again. For another month!

Anyway went to NiuZeXui, the NZX place at Ara Damansara. Saw ads bout their "Disney parks" there so asked sis to go since my niece Val is obsessed with anything Disney-ish. Quite nice-La. Felt like urm.. Disneyland Malaysia LOL.

It's a whole new year again. With a blink of an eye, a year has passed by. If someone would have asked me if 2008 was a memorable year for me, I really would not know how to answer. And so, I spent this past few moments before I fall asleep, trying to think what memories did the year 2008 brought to me.

Firstly, I would say '08 would be the year that I would always remember. It was the year where relationships were broken, and healed. It was the year I had the most regrets, but learned to forget. It was the year I was most sad, but at the same time, happy. It was the year I lost my mum. But knowing that I lost her not to the hands of the devil, but she is now rejoicing in heaven, brings peace to me.

Her death has brought sadness, regret, and bitterness to the deepest of my heart. I was not only sad, but torn apart, realizing that I'm motherless. I was regret over every single of my action, what I had and had not done to her. I was bitter. So bitter towards my father, thinking that it was all caused by him. But I learned to forget. Still learning.

Apart from losing my mother, it was also the year where we almost lost my niece, Valerie. 15 minutes was how long we thought she was almost gone. Knowing that she is asleep now in the room beside mine, brings the utmost happiness to me now.

Overall, 2008 was a year that reformed my life. I hurt, but now I have healed. My siblings, aunties and I grew closer. Little Val and I are very attached. My cousin in Aussie and I are keeping in touch after all the years. The boyfriend and I are doing better, but not in the case of the mother-in-law lol. And lastly, relationship with my father have, I should say, improved. In a way that we're at least talking. And as for my friends, I still have the craziest, wackiest, funniest, most outrageous bunch of friends that I love so much, may they be close, or far.

And how I celebrated my new year's countdown?

Was actually at Curve with some friends and was hiding from all the yucky foam thingy that I just hate so much! It gets me all sticky and icky. yuck. And actually got irritated with the whole countdown thing. Couldn't get why everyone would not just stay at home, have a romantic dinner, watch a movie and make love all night long (my dream countdown =p ), instead of getting all squashed up at like the curve, with the intention of watching fireworks that are most probably visible only at one particular spot, getting drowned with yucky foam that people waste money buying, they're just soap foams! Plus getting stuck in heavy heavy traffic and taking the risk of having a mental breakdown from finding a parking! Yea, I am getting older.

Last Sunday was my niece, Valeries's 3rd birthday. I was working and couldn't spend the day with her but sis brought her to 1u. Had lunch together during my hour break then they went off to watch Beverly Chihuahua while I had to continue working. =(

After work at 6, we headed down to SS2's Wong Kok Char Chan Teng where we had a small family dinner together with the boyfriend who joined us as well.

I guess I should be talking bout' my Merry Little Christmas, but since it wasn't merry for me, I shall skip it. Instead I shall talk about how disappointing Jogoya's buffet was.

Haven't been there but had always wanted to go. But since it was so expensive, I never did. Then bout' 2 weeks back, Wai Yan asked me if I wanted to go to Jogoya's with Yi Ching, who just got back from Aussie and Hwee as they were having their anniversary and ladies only had to pay 50% of the price. So why not?

Everyone was so hungry that we took almost everything but was so dissapointed! The food was so not fresh. Sashimi's were cut not into slices but more like in chunks! The sushis were overloaded with rice! The service was bad! The dishes that we needed to pre order was expected to be hot but was cold! The unagi that took half an hour to arrive came in only two very miserable pieces!!! The mushroom soup taste like burnt rice and practically everything else was unsatisfactory-La to me, for a Starhill standard. But, we still ate for an entire hour though. Oh the only satisfying part that made me a happy girl that day was the buffet spread of Haagen Dazs ice creams!!! Strawberry sorbet and rum raisin became my main course.

I LOVE TWILIGHT!!!

OMG i just cannot describe how much i liked it or loved it but i do!

The best part was, I actually watched it alone. Alone!

I've been dying to watch the movie ever since I saw the trailer and just fell in love with Edward Cullen, but the boyfriend didn't had time, all my friends watched it ya da ya da.. so yeah I went alone! But no regrets man. Not at all.

I went up to the cinema at 1u, where else can I be, and as any usual weekend, it was crowded with what else, couples.. Hmmm nvm, I told myself I can watch alone Lol. Then I went to the counter and told the guy-la "Twilight, 7pm". He then asked "Berapa?", I said "Satu.", he said "Satu???", I said "Kesian kan..hu hu" =__=''

So anyway the seats for that show was really selling out fast and when he showed me the seating, there were only 2 single seats available. 1 at like the third row from the back, but it was right in the middle, and another at a few rows lower, but was at the most side. I took the lower but at the side, thinking to myself, it will be kinda a sad case when others see me walking in alone and going out alone if I would have taken the middle one instead. =___=''

Then in the cinema, at the part where Bella was leaving her dad, I cried like hell. Ok, I cried throughout the entire show-La but that was the part where I kinda felt the most. Partly coz' it kinda relates to my relationship with my dad. Oh well. Oh! then when I cried, the guy beside me turned and looked at me sympathetically, maybe wondering "kesian, budak ni baru putus cinta kut.." haha. Oh the funniest part! When the show ended, the time the lights were turned on again, I turned and looked at the guy beside me and saw him wiping his face with his shirt LOL!

I left the show feeling utterly satisfied!

Ok i finally have time to talk about "The Best" now!
Coz' I have an off day tomorrow! YAY!
Ok, to me, the best, are my friends. I am very blessed to have the most awesomeness friends ever.
As in ALL my friends, but in this post, I'll talk about the U8's Kampar trip last last week, right?

When I'm with them, they bring out the best in me.
They give me the best times in my life.
And that is why they are the best.
Of course as time goes by, we drift apart, as in distance, but I always believe that our friendship would not.

I know I'm like so backdated coz' you all would have already read bout the trip from either clem's, jess's or jon's blog but I still wanna post this!

First thing we did after checking in.....

Was trying out Clem's gadgets! He brought like so many stuffs for our planned "photo shoot". And not sub-standard wan ok!

Didn't turn out to be the "sexy construction worker" as we thought of at first LOL.

Woke up at like 6am, rushed to the toilet to do some business.. yeah had diarrhea like the whole day before and the consequences of not buying the "po chai" pills.

Tried to persuade the gang to allow me to just stay in bed than following them to Gua Tempurung.. Scared I "ter-cirit" in the cave LOL!

The Worse & The Best

Ello ppl!

I am soooooo tired and freakin pissed at the moment!

Ok, for those who don't know, I'm actually working in 1U for like this whole month. Yes, the whole whole month till New year's. Without any off day, except for Christmas's eve. And yes I'm workin also on Christmas and New year's coz got like triple pay.

Ok, lemme tell you guys why am I so freakin pissed now. I took the bus to and back from work today. Reached Kl sentral at bout 11 and had to interchange to another bus back home. So, wait-lor, wait, wait for the bus.. waited till I had a glimpse at the guy standing next to me punya watch and saw that it was almost 12AM! At that time, I still didn't give much thought bout what time was the last bus till I looked around and realize at the same time that it was 12AM and with only 2,3,4 ppl around me!

And also to those who knew bout the incident where I got lost at central market wayyyy back when I was in form3, this is wayyyyyyy scarier!!! Ok, in addition to the scary-ness, my phone was dead and I only had like less than 10 bucks which makes it impossible for me to get a cab driven by cut-throat blood sucker (cekik kerongkong dan darah) drivers!

Andddddd in addition to all that, here comes the worse. As I was standing at the bus stop, a guy, (race not to be mentioned less the ISA catches me lol) (clue:not my race and not of that that I can speak it's language so fluently and that leaves.....) walks pass me and said this exact words! "Malam malam pakai macam ini. BODOH" while oggling me WTF! And before you jump into conclussion what I was wearing, I WAS IN PANTS NOT VERY SHORT WITH A LONG, LOOSE, BIG, UGLY, SWEATER! If you think what I was wearing may lead to rape please do step up and I will be glad to debate with you on the link of a women's clothing and rape cases.

There, that is my worse experience so far. With buses. And I have to face it for another like 31-1=32 more days! So if any of you are in 1U or going there please pleaseeeee let me know so I can tumpang? =D

Friday Night Fever

Was in bed last night, feeling emo-ish when my phone rang and it was Kai Tzin. He invited me to one of his friend's birthday party, Ryan. After some persuasion from him, I agreed. The hardest part was not only that I had a couple of minutes to get ready, but the party had a theme too. A hard one! It was "when American next top model meets the Apprentice." So it was sorta like a formal office wear but in a hot way..

Just mixed and matched some outfit and off we went. It was held in a suite at the Royale Bintang Hotel which was F.A.B.O.L.O.U.S!

Once there, we each had to first take a "profile picture." It was actually for the "best-dressed" and "best-posed" competition later on. The food there was so good but since it was after 8pm, I had to restrain myself from eating. ARGH! Well, I had 1, 2, 3 pieces of chicken wings though.. =p

Hello! I’m back and am still as loud as ever wtf… Anyway was out for so longggg as my dumbass comp “kong-ed”, “rosak”, “crashed” or just died on me again-la.. die also nvm.. it just had to die during my ever most crucial moment! When I was editing a video for my FINAL PROJECT! The video that will determine if you guys would see me around in Subang still or not next year.

Those of you who know me well enough would know that I just don’t have a thing for what so ever IT gadgets and that include computers! And that’s because computers just seemed to hate me. Every time, and I mean EVERY time I have a important assignment that requires the usage of a comp, something is sure bound to happen.. either I forgot to save it, burn it, delete it, hang, or just die!

I HATE COMPUTERS! THEY HATE ME TOO! =__=’’

Sooo… I came up with a solution.. and that is to.. LOVE MY COMPUTER MORE!!!
LOL.. I seriously love it now.. I just spent money to “decorate” it ok. Very rare that I would spent my money on computer stuff than buying cosmetics =D

I like her sense of originality and her super bitchy and “hiao” (bimbo-ish vain) personality! Coz’.. I think I’m as bimbo-ish as her too LOL! Above all, I think she’s super smart too! Like me three! *super smiles** I just like her-la!

Ok, so what made her say that I looked like Xia Xue? Must be the colored contacts and the

curly hair-la.. Not forgetting the super false eyelashes! And also she said something bout our similar face shape. What u’d say? This is the closest resemblance picture that I could find.

No? Urm… actually.. I also don’t really think we look alike.. but if I would to have her super perfect blonde hair, which I do intend on getting, her super nice colored contacts, in other pics in her blog, her superbly incredible photoshop skills, which I am clueless about, and lastly, her SUPERBLY NICE NOSE, I think I would resemble her in a way kua’.
